Expansion of the centenary house.
The attic area of the lower house will be demolished and reconstructed.
The new roof will have mansard-coated tiles and will respect the modulation of the room windows and the type of “cantarias” in the existing vivenda.
The structure of the roof consists of reinforced concrete beams with pretablets, isolated with roofmate. The sufaces of the lower floors, except for those in the bathroom, are covered in wooden floorboards, typical in Portugal. The bathroom floor will be covered with slabs of stone, 40 x 40 x 1cm in dimension.
The vivienda will be painted white, and the stone surfaces are to be cleaned with steel brushes.
