Rossio 62

Description

It is the rehabilitation of one of the buildings that delimits the charismatic D. Pedro IV Square in Rossio, Lisbon.

The presented project tried to recover some of original elements of the building that were overtime deeply adulterated.

The building has 5 floors above ground and a basement. Inside, the space is reorganized in order to ensure the adequacy of the building to the intended program without harming its patrimonial value.

In the existing commercial units on the ground floor, the design of some of the old façades, such as that of the historic pharmacy with its Art-Deco style, will be restored.
