Description
The residential project House in Lapa sits between the magnificent Estrela Park and wide views of the Tagus River. It stands in one of Lisbon’s most emblematic neighbourhoods, Lapa.
The main goal of the House in Lapa project was to enhance the qualities of the original building while giving it a fresh, modern look.
The main transformation took place on the top floor. A new wooden roof conceals the heating equipment and blends naturally into the design. A practical wooden wardrobe complements this approach and adds warmth and function. These subtle touches make the living room more inviting. Residents can enjoy views of Lapa’s red rooftops, white walls and the calm blue river.
On the remaining floors, we simplified lines and removed false ceilings. We replaced old materials with high-quality finishes to create a unique, comfortable home. The house keeps its Portuguese soul. It gains a fresh touch of Iberian architecture and contemporary design.
