Casa Pátio

Casa Pátio is a residential architecture project by Contacto Atlântico that represents a new way of living close to the water. With a contemporary L-shaped design and a central courtyard as its focal point, the residence blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

The structure’s volumetry explores the intersection of axes and the overlap of volumes, creating a play of light and shadow that adds sophistication to the project. Casa Pátio also features a deck and a swimming pool connecting directly to the main living areas, ensuring a fluid transition between interior and exterior and encouraging outdoor living.

The team chose durable materials and sustainable architectural solutions to optimise energy efficiency and thermal comfort, including shading elements and controlled openings. Overall, Casa Pátio expresses our studio’s commitment to designing spaces that enhance quality of life while respecting the environment.
