Casa Pátio is a residential project by Contacto Atlântico that reflects a refined approach to contemporary architecture in Portugal, where spatial clarity and integration with the natural environment define the design. The concept is structured around an L-shaped layout, organised around a central courtyard that becomes the core of the house. This configuration allows the residence to open toward the surrounding environment while maintaining privacy and a strong internal focus.

Architectural Design, Materiality and Spatial Experience

The volumetric composition explores the intersection of axes and overlapping volumes, creating a dynamic play of light and shadow throughout the day. This articulation gives depth and sophistication to the architectural expression while reinforcing the clarity of the overall form.
