Douradores 160

The Douradores 160 project renovates an existing building on Rua dos Douradores with a gross area of 1,255.21 m². Although it looks Pombaline, it is in fact a nearly century-old concrete office building.

The proposal updates the façades—mainly the ground and top floors—and converts the ground floor to retail and the upper floors to housing. It also improves the building’s technical and functional performance to support the new program.

At Douradores 160, the ground floor gains two small retail units of about 95 m² each. The upper levels add 12 apartments in several typologies: one studio (T0), seven one-bedroom units (T1) and four two-bedroom units (T2).
