Italian Burger & Lobster House
Description
The refurbishment project for Italian Burger & Lobster House is located at 12 Rua do Loreto in Lisbon. The building’s morphological and architectural features remain intact and fully preserved.
The interior and exterior works remodel and reorganise the existing restaurant, with the changes needed to reflect the Italian Burger & Lobster House brand image. The different dining rooms and the blue colour palette bring energy and dynamism to a young, relaxed atmosphere.
On the façade, the openings are standardised to align with neighbouring buildings. The former pillar is replaced by two smaller ones to increase visibility, and frames and glazing are replaced with safer timber solutions. Plain black awnings with the brand logo are installed. Where possible, jamb stonework is kept or replaced with matching pieces. The rendered finish is repaired and kept with the same materiality and colour.
