Jamie’s Italian Restaurant

Jamie’s Italian Lisbon is a restaurant renovation project by Contacto Atlântico, located in the heart of Lisbon’s Príncipe Real. The intervention transforms a traditional building into a contemporary restaurant aligned with the international Jamie Oliver brand, while respecting the character of the original structure.

With a total area of 1,176 m², the project spans three upper floors and two basement levels. The architectural layout integrates bar and dining areas, professional kitchens, technical zones, and vertical circulation, ensuring a fluid and functional experience.

The use of natural materials such as stone, iron, and glass reinforces the authenticity of the space. The interiors reflect an elegant and understated aesthetic, combining warm tones, raw textures, and diffused lighting to create a welcoming yet urban atmosphere.

Jamie’s Italian Lisbon is defined by spatial clarity, coherence, and subtle sophistication. The interior design avoids decorative excess and focuses on fluid transitions between environments. Vertical movement between floors is intuitive and contributes to the overall architectural balance.

This project reflects Contacto Atlântico’s design approach to commercial renovations: enhance the user experience, respect the existing structure, and reinforce the identity of the brand. The result is a functional, elegant space that balances tradition and modernity in one of Lisbon’s most iconic neighbourhoods.
