The Palácio Conceição Silva project involves the alteration, rehabilitation and expansion of a late-19th-century palace at Avenida da Liberdade 226, with a gross lettable area of 2,970 m².
The aim is to rehabilitate the palace so it can accommodate new commercial and residential functions. Because the authorities classify it as a property of public interest, the intervention relies on subtle façade adjustments, a change of use and a careful transformation of the interior spaces.
The potential of Palácio Conceição Silva is evident. Its unique atmosphere extends into both the new commercial areas and the residential units, through the restoration of the grand staircase, selected stained-glass elements and the renewed connection to Lisbon’s former public promenade.
