Yacht Club of Cascais

The project set out to restore the dignity and splendour of a privileged point in Cascais, the Yacht Club of Cascais. It respects the original character and rehabilitates the existing ensemble, returning a civic presence by the Atlantic.

This place is reached by a pedestrian axis that links São João do Estoril to Cascais Marina. The goal was to recover the historic building, a key link between the ocean and the town. In addition, the design clarifies routes and improves access while discreetly integrating the required technical systems. Thus, the Yacht Club of Cascais strengthens the connection between town, marina and sea with clear, safe and continuous use.
