Rossio 62

Rossio 62 rehabilitates one of the buildings that frame Praça D. Pedro IV in the Rossio, Lisbon. The aim is to restore the original reading of a construction altered over time.

The building has five storeys above ground and one basement. Inside, the layout suits the intended programme, with clear routes and well-defined uses. Thus, Rossio 62 meets current needs without losing memory.

In the retail units, the former telecommunications shop is redesigned. Café Gelo and the Espingardaria remain unchanged. In addition, the pharmacy annex is closed and the façade regains its original design.
